0-fATPL Course

Modular 0-fATPL

The modular pilot training offers a step-by-step path to becoming an airline pilot, enabling individuals to progress through different stages of training at their own pace, often alongside other commitments. The key steps include obtaining a Private Pilot License (PPL), building flight hours and completing the ATPL theoretical exams, acquiring an Instrument Rating (IR) and Multi-Engine Rating (MEP), and finally obtaining a Commercial Pilot License (CPL) along with completing a Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) course.

Private Pilot License (PPL)

This is the foundational stage, usually involving around 45 hours of flight training and passing theoretical exams.

Time Building and ATPL Theoretical Exams:

After earning your PPL, you’ll need to accumulate flight hours (including Pilot in Command cross-country hours) and complete the comprehensive ATPL theoretical exams, which cover 13 subjects.

Instrument Rating (IR) & Multi-Engine Piston Rating (MEP)

This phase involves training to fly under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) conditions and on multi-engine aircraft, including a Single Engine Instrument Rating (SE-IR), Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (ME-IR), and Multi-Engine Piston Class Rating (MEP).

Commercial Pilot License (CPL)

With sufficient flight hours, as Pilot in Command, you can undertake CPL training and the associated skill test.

Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) / Airline Pilot Standard Multi-Crew Co-Operation (APS MCC):

This course prepares you for working in a multi-pilot cockpit environment, a vital skill for airline operations.

Housing during the education

Accommodation is not included under the whole course. The cost of an apartment that you share with another person is around 200–300 euros a month per student where everything is included, if you want to choose this option.
